Capturing a fullscreen demo directly
- 
    Create a new demo - From the main menu, click New Demo
- Read the help text on this screen if you haven’t already
- Additionaly, the resolution of the demo that will be captured is shown in the bottom left corner of this screen. It should show the same resolution that your main display is set to
        - Currently, DemoEasel can only capture demos on your main display
 
 
- From the main menu, click 
- 
    Start the capture - When capturing a fullscreen demo, it is recommended to hide or close any other applications, so that there is less clutter for viewers of the demo
- Most operating systems offer a ‘Virtual Desktop’ feature. You can use this feature when capturing to also hide the DemoEasel application from your capture
        - Every operating system implements virtual desktops differently, so you may need to check your user manual for detailed instructions
 
- When you are ready and your demonstration program is set to begin your demo, click Start Capture
 
- 
    Perform your demo sequence - There is no rush, this is not video, no disk space is used unless the screen is changing
- Take your time and make sure not to click on anything not part of your demo. However, if you do accidentally, you can always edit it out later
 
- 
    Stop the capture and abstract the demo - When you have finished performing your demo, return to DemoEasel and click Pause Capture
- If you are not satisfied with your performance, click Start Overto return to the capture screen
- Otherwise, click Abstract Demoto have DemoEasel process and save your demo
 
- When you have finished performing your demo, return to DemoEasel and click 
- 
    Crop the demo to fullscreen - You will see the cropping screen. For a fullscreen demo, you must choose Set Crop Manually
- Click Yes, set the crop Manually
- You will now see the manual cropping screen. Drag the handles in the corners of the red rectangle to the corners of the capture. You do not have to be exact.
- Click Zoom: TopLeft. Use the arrow keys to move the rectangle all the way into the corner.
- Click Done
- Click Zoom: BottRight. Use the arrow keys to move the rectangle all the way into the corner.
- Click Done
- Click Donein the main dialog
 
- You will see the cropping screen. For a fullscreen demo, you must choose 
- 
    Name your demo - Enter the name for your demo in the text box. It is recommended to use only ASCII characters in a demo name
- Click OKwhen finished
